The fastener tool is more than just a library. It can also help you conveniently reuse the connectors you’ve defined. Say, for example, you wanted to use a bolt/washer/nut assembly at several points on your model. Just click the reassemble icon under Tools > Intelligent Fastener. Then click the point, axis, or hole where you want to place it. The system creates a new, duplicate connector.

Best of all, if you choose to assemble a connector on a hole that’s part of a pattern, the system will offer to automatically copy it throughout the pattern—that’s where the time savings of using the Intelligent Fastener tool really adds up.
