- Go to www.ptc.com
- Click on My Account (Top right)
- Click on Customer Support Login
- Choose to Create an Account (Bottom right)
- Populate this page with your information (the email you list will be your user name)
Input the following information at the bottom of the page. You can find this information via your renewal quote, order confirmation or from your account manager
- Enter your Customer Number
- Enter your Service Contract Number (SCN)
- Then click Create Account and follow the prompts.

Once you receive your license files, save the one entitled Standard on your hard drive
- Open Mathcad
- Click on the large M in the top left corner
- Click on Mathcad Options
- Click on the License Tab
- Click on File, then browse to where you saved your “Standard” license file
- Click Apply and the top of the screen should indicate that you now have a commercial version

Once you receive your license files, save the one entitled Standard on your hard drive
- Open the Program Directory – <Load Point>\<Application>\bin
- Run – reconfigure.exe
- When prompted on the license, Click on File, then browse to where you saved your “Standard” license file

Locate your license file on your local drive, or server.
- Open it in “Notepad”
- Scroll down to the area called “Summary Table”
- Look up the column title version
- Whatever is listed there is the newest version the license will support along with all legacy versions.
